Business Stuff: Babies and Bath Water

As you may know one half of us (Sarah) had a baby 4 weeks ago and one half of us (me) will have a baby in 7 weeks or so.

This has something to do with our delay in posting. But not all.

One complication was that I took a day and a half and donated some time to be a photographer at Royal Family Kids Camp. And I don't mind saying, I got some great shots. However, I cannot share them with you or anyone else as the kids' have a strict privacy code thing going. So... rest assured I could have filled up this week several times over with interesting "gets" from camp. I can however post pictures of the counselors... maybe I will do that.

The other main complication is that, in an effort to encourage my clients to schedule their appointments sooner rather than later (based on the presumption that though hugely pregnant, at least I don't have a little cutey baby depending on me for food or other possible complications that come along with birth... of course... there is the slight chance that if I have to chase your children around TOO much for a shoot I could have the baby DURING your session, I'm not too worried about it), I've... well... asked them to schedule their shoots sooner rather than later. This was a very bad paragraph.

Anyway, my point being I do not want to publish their possible Christmas card pictures in August or September so that they do not feel stale by the time they are getting picked for Christmas cards. I might post some of the artsier tries that wouldn't have made it onto a card anyway.

So that is what is going on, we'll return to new pictures soon.
