Caiah hasn't had a particularly hard time so far with the addition of his little brother, Max, but being sensitive people we have all tried to make sure he feels paid attention to and not overlooked.
This is a few moments after Abby greeted Caiah the day Max was born. I love the nuance that she is happy to be hugging him, but she's also checking his expression to make sure or to enjoy that he is happy.
And yes I do normally brush Abby's hair before school, but we had JUST gotten the message that Sarah was having the baby as I was getting her ready.
