Sarah: going to the farmers market...

Sometimes I see something or one and I just get fascinated...
The hat, the basket, the shoes, the jeans and collared polo on this older woman made me think she use to make this journey ... on a farm not in the city...

Adrea: Ryan

It's weird, Caleb and Ryan don't look all that much alike... and yet... they look exactly alike.

Poor Ryan is so tall in fact most people expect him to be able to do things way beyond is 2-3 years.

Adrea: K-love

Caleb is a boy in Abby's class. However she thinks his name is K-love. Very hip if you ask me.

Sarah: Maya's Newborn

It's been one WHOLE month since I've posted... good golly... somehow I thought it was just a few weeks... equally embarrassing as I do TRY to be consistent... Nesting has taken priority... sorry friends...

The GOOD NEWS ... I have a few shoots scheduled for the next few weeks... which SHOULD give me some lovely posts for YOU to enjoy!!!

:)

For now... some old shoots from a new perspective...

Adrea: In Momma's Arms

And as she goes on to uncertain waters (whether it be Kindergarden or college), I hope she knows I'll always have her here in my heart.

Adrea: Quick Album Cover

Gina called me for a quick shoot to capture the kids of the parents that had collaborated on a farewell DVD for Miss Pat. I had plans in my head even though I wasn't supposed to be the photographer in charge... and this one came out almost exactly how I wanted. An appropriate post on the day of Abby's graduation from pre-school.

Adrea: Princess Julia

When I saw that Julia was both dressed as a princess and had her hair done to boot, I did what any good Godmother would do... dragged her away from the fun and frolic of her birthday party, away from her friends, cupcakes and gifts and told her to look at the camera. As any good birthday princess, Julia complied to a point. And, reminding myself that one of my roles as Godparent is to be loving and no where in the initial contract was there a caveat to throw out all the rules to get a good picture, I let it go at that, feeling somewhat a failure in both roles...BUT I think you can tell by these that this girl's cuteness deserved an all out photo shoot.

Adrea: Jen & Jason & Family

Jen was a friend of Steve's first at Westmont and it's always nice when a friend has a family that gets along with yours. Jen and Jason came down from SB for a photoshoot and dinner. And you'll find my blog posts obsessed with them this week. Since our shoot was sort of integrated with our family plans we probably spent more time than usual together. It was also both sunset and overcast. I was worried about that... but it turned out to be just the right kind of overcast.

Anyway I totally overshot - which in and of itself does not guarantee that I will like the extra pictures as much as I did. So... just warning you - alot of these folks in the coming days.
