Four Year Old Boys...
I have recently discovered that four year old boys are very difficult to get pictures of. Wesley was a perfect gentleman and turned and smiled everytime I asked him... but only for a tenth of a nanosecond before he was off again... This was the best picture I got of him in four hours. (Granted I did have a baby on my hip sans wrap... I cannot be a photographer/mom without a wrap)

Adrea: On Mother's Day
I think of how often and how subtle I see a mother's hand in frame, but not much more. So often babies, toddlers, big kids alike, just need that one little link to mom and safety. Just a thread away from independence, silent, but strong and secure. Multi-tasking, encouraging, guiding, reassuring... Waiting, but not pushing... Just like Mom.

I love the reflection of the tree in his eye (above)... he's going to sprout up just like that tree he's thinking...
